Pelsan Lighting, one of the biggest manufacturers in Turkish lighting industry, attended to A-Tech Trade Show organized in Ankara Congresium on the dates between 22-25 November 2018. A-Tech Trade Show was visited by more than 5.000 visitors.
The Light of the Light + Building Fair Is Going Out
Known as the biggest trade fair of the lighting industry, Light + Building was held in Frankfurt between 2 – 6 October 2022. The number of exhibitors and visitors to the fair dropped dramatically. The number of exhibitors decreased by 44 percent and the number of visitors decreased by 57 percent.

Known as the biggest trade fair of the lighting industry, Light + Building was held in Frankfurt between 2 – 6 October 2022. The number of exhibitors and visitors to the fair dropped dramatically.
According to the final report published by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH, the organizer of the fair, 1,531 companies participated in Light + Building 2022 and 92,938 people visited the fair. 2,714 companies participated in Light + Building 2018, the previous version of the fair, and more than 220,000 people visited the fair. Accordingly, the number of exhibitors decreased by 44 percent and the number of visitors decreased by 57 percent.

According to the statement made by Messe Frankfurt officials, 107 companies from Turkey (102 companies from Turkey appear in the exhibitor list on the website of the fair). With this number of exhibitors, Turkey ranked fourth after Germany, Italy and China.
It was announced that 107 companies from Turkey will participate in Light + Building 2020, which was canceled due to the coronavirus epidemic. Although the number of exhibitors from Turkey has not decreased in the last two years, other countries have decreased significantly. For example; The number of exhibitors from Germany fell from 696 to 422, China’s from 393 to 120, Italy’s from 235 to 178.
According to the list of exhibitors on the website of the fair, the countries that attended the fair the most were as follows.

- Spain: 59
- Hong Kong: 54
- Netherlands: 46
- South Korea: 37

The fair organizer evaluated the results as “more than successful”. The next Light + Building is scheduled for 3 to 8 March 2024.
