Light measuring devices called lux meters can measure with high precision in a wide measuring range. But when it comes to LEDs things get a little more complicated. Different brands and models of lux meters may take different measurements at the same point.

Photocell and motion sensor are electronic devices used to manage indoor and outdoor lighting systems. These sensors are used to save energy by turning the lights on when it gets dark or when motion is detected, and turning them off when they are no longer needed.
